Europe’s great cities are living museums, their architecture testament to their ancestry and artistry. On this immersive tour, students will visit some of the greatest European cities, travelling from Italy’s Rome, Florence and Venice, to Paris and Barcelona. Along the way they will step foot in some of the world’s most iconic landmarks, the Colosseum, Vatican Museums, Monet’s House and Gardens, Palace of Versailles and La Sagrada Familia revealing their treasures. Yet there will be time for individual reflection and artistic expression too, with art classes and free time to further personal interests. Students will return from this tour with a deeper understanding of Europe’s contribution to the artistic world, as well as a new-found sense of their own artistic leanings.

France’s long artistic heritage is brought to life on this immersive tour of some of the country’s most beautiful towns and iconic cities. From Van Gogh’s Provence to Paris’ Louvre Museum, the landscape unfurls in a swirl of vineyards, olive groves, Renaissance cities and stunning architecture. Students will get the opportunity to improve upon their existing French language foundation, putting it into practice as they immerse themselves in everyday life. From cooking classes, to guided tours, World War I memorials to cruises along the Seine, this is a journey of inspiration and heritage. Our trip will take us from Lyon to Avignon, Montpellier to Toulouse, with many stops in between. We end our trip in France’s tantalizing capital city.

A packed itinerary will lead students from Paris to Munich as they piece together the stories and battles of the First and Second World Wars. They’ll step foot on the battlefields of the Somme and learn about the Australian soldiers of the Western Front. From Paris and its iconic sights, to Munich and its Nazi history, this is a trip filled with fascination, learning and variety. From river cruises along the Seine to moving guided tours of Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp, this is bound to be a journey of unforgettable experiences.

From the battlefields of Normandy and Ypres, to the town of Battle where the William the Conqueror changed England’s history forever, the history books are brought into living colour. Sobering visits to military cemeteries and D-Day landing beaches are balanced with cultural explorations in London and Paris, while Australian Allied history is given focus through immersive experiences and guided tours of poignant battles. Our journey begins in London and ends in Paris.
