On this 8 day-long adventure, students will get an immersive insight into the ancient cultures and unique geology and wildlife which exists in the Australian outback. It is a varied and action-packed itinerary which will lead them from Alice Springs deep into the MacConnell Mountain Range and on to the Kings Canyon and Watarrka National Park, and Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park. They will learn bush cooking skills and ancient art from Aboriginal people, discover the unique wildlife of the region, and learn about emerging technologies such as solar power at award-winning research centres. From astronomy tours to swimming in remote watering holes, this is a tour which will inspire and enrich the students’ fascination with the world, bringing ancient traditions and modern technologies together.
